At the Annual Guild B “Paint the Town Pink” event, the Lake Chelan Health and Wellness Foundation Board of Directors presented a $15,000 check to Ray Eickmeyer, EMS Director Lake Chelan Health Hospital. “Reach the Unreachable” luncheon was held at Sorrento’s Ristorante on October 6th.  All funds raised that day would go towards the purchase of a Utility/All-Terrain Vehicle to support EMS rescues in remote areas. An anonymous donor guaranteed matching funds raised at the event, which brought the total for the day to over $50,000.

This total is a base amount for the purchase of an equipped UTV to meet the needs for back country rescues. Along with donations from the Foundation and others, money was also raised from “Dessert Dash” and “Wine Pull”. This event was a sellout.
