Short Form Scholarship Renewal Application
HAROLD & EDNA BRAGG HEALTHCARE EDUCATION FUND By LAKE CHELAN HEALTH & WELLNESS FOUNDATION
Those students who have received funds during the 2026-27 academic year are eligible to apply for healthcare educational scholarships with this short form application if they conform to the following criteria:
- Continuing at the same school for another year.
- Continuing in the same healthcare or related field. (Please advise the foundation if different)
- Maintained a satisfactory cumulative grade point average (Include most recent transcript copy)
- Maintaining a permanent address and/or relationships in the Chelan Valley.
Scholarships are awarded on a “funds available” policy for the healthcare education of residents of the Chelan Valley area.
Scholarships are given from interest and dividends of an educational endowment left in 1995 to the Foundation by Mrs. Edna Bragg.
Students currently receiving funds have the responsibility to notify the Scholarship Committee of grades, and changes of status (change of major, full or part-time, withdrawal from classes or school, change of address, etc.)
Use of Funds
Funds are awarded for tuition or registration only.
Procedures
Submit a completed application and current transcript to the Lake Chelan Health & Wellness Foundation, P. O. Box 1911, Chelan, 98816 or online: (foundation@lchealthwellness.com).
The Scholarship committee will screen and review all applications and make selections. The committee reserves the right to reject any or all applications based on qualifications, purpose or availability of scholarship funds. Partial scholarships may be given. Applicants may re-apply for scholarships at appropriate intervals.
The Scholarship committee, upon selection of recipients, will authorize the Foundation to write a check for the dollar amount of the scholarship to be applied in the manner approved. Scholarship funds will be sent directly to schools.
Scholarship recipient will be notified of acceptance in writing by the end of July. If the scholarship applicant does not attend the school named in the application, funds must be returned to the Foundation. A student may be reconsidered for a scholarship at a future date.
Announcement of scholarship winners will be made public
after the Foundation Board has been notified.
