We could never make the Valley a healthier place on our own. We would love your help!
As we live out our mission make the Valley a healthier place to be, we know we could never do it alone. That’s why we’re grateful to have the partnership of several community organizations and guilds that are just as passionate about health and wellness as we are. These groups partner with us (and we partner with them) to help provide educational programming, fundraising opportunities and the community-building events that make this region such an incredible place to live.
Serving Lake Chelan Health Since 1947
Even before the first Lake Chelan Community Hospital opened its doors in August of 1948, Guild B was founded to provide it with community-based support. Guild B’s major fundraising project is the Home Tour. Their Lights of Love fundraiser and beautiful holiday season light display continues to delight all who visit the hospital.
Guild B Home Tour
In 2000, Guild B held its first Home Tour and in 2004 added an Art Show. Guild B’s annual Home Tour and Art Show continues to finance a broad array of hospital equipment from patient monitors, arterial blood readers, a computerized treadmill for cardiac assessment, and a second operating room that more than doubled the number of surgeries that can be performed. In recent years, purchases have been a state-of-the-art emergency room defibrillator that hospital staff assured us would “save lives,” neonatal equipment to monitor jaundice in newborns without the necessity of a blood test, and upgrading the DEXA bone scan machine. Guild B is as old as the hospital it serves, and is dedicated to providing high quality healthcare for the community. We thank our community business partners and guests who have attended our events in helping to provide needed hospital equipment.
Guild Y is currently selling Etched Brick Pavers for the patio adjacent to the new Orchards Café in the hospital. The sale runs from April 1 to May 31.
Name forms to fill out are available at the Lake Chelan Chamber of Commerce office in downtown Chelan. The tax-deductible donation of $100 will also be taken there, by personal check payable to Guild Y, or by cash.
The bricks will be laid in late summer or early fall. Profits from this fundraiser will also go to buying outdoor furniture and building a pergola or shady arbor to make the outdoor dining area a cool place for hospital staff and patient visitors to relax, enjoy a break and get some fresh air.
Guild Y appreciates your interest in our newest fundraiser. We sold 253 etched bricks in the 2022 sale – a wonderful response from the community and regular visitors who wanted to show their support for the new Lake Chelan Health hospital. Now is your opportunity to join too!
